What is an Associate?

An Associate is a non-vowed relationship, a holy agreement between an individual and the Sisters of St. Francis. You are invited to join us in our desire to respond to The Franciscan Call to a deeper Gospel life. Sharing in prayer and service to the people of God, Sisters and Associates make the presence of Jesus a more vibrant reality in our world.

Who is eligible for an Associate Relationship?

• All who believe that their life and response to Jesus can be enriched by sharing with the Sisters

• All who desire to grow in a way consistent with the Gospel and the Franciscan Charism

• Women and Men, single and married, laity and clergy

• All who share reverence and concern for creation
